The HR Product Technology team partnering with Enterprise HR and Talent businesses is looking for a Software Engineer to assist with the new implementation of ServiceNow to replace the existing case management system.
Primary Responsibilities
As a member of the scrum team you will leverage your skills and knowledge to add to the team’s success
Provide technical guidance to other engineers on the delivery team
Develop an understanding of the business domain in order to participate in discussions, planning, and provide feedback to drive the team and product forward
Adopt and promote principles of Agile development, Continuous Integration/Delivery, and DevOps
Elicit and communicate key requirements, and cultivate partnership and a spirit of collaboration and dedication within the project team
Strong collaboration, communication and engagement skills and will be expected to articulate and document business and system requirements
Flexible attitude and be able to appropriately accommodate change
Commitment to the highest levels of quality
Aptitude and desire to ramp up quickly on new technologies and skills
Experience and Skills
BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree and 5 plus years of professional experience
Service Now Development
Java/Spring/Spring Boot
SOAP/REST WebServices in Service Oriented Architecture
CI/CD, Jenkins, Concourse, GIT
Linux/Windows
· 4+ years developing in a Java based environment
· 2+ years developing in a web or services-based environment
· Proven hands-on experience and a real passion for working within an agile (scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.) development environment
· Experience working within a distributed environment
· Nice to have:
o Angular 2+
o Linux Shell Scripting
o Pivotal Cloud Foundry/Cloud Deployment
o Database JPA
