Senior Test Engineer

Summary of Position

Analyze military systems at circuit card, subsystem and system level to establish technical test requirements. Analyze test systems to extract test resource capabilities. 

 Design, develop and integrate Automatic Test System (ATS) and process automation hardware and software used for testing a variety of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical assemblies.

San Antonio, Texas

Travel

Some light domestic travel will be required.

Essential Job Requirements

 The candidate should have a strong level of experience in Test Program Set (TPS) development, data acquisition, sampling theory, impedance matching, buffering and other signal integrity issues.

The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and experience developing and presenting system design documentation.  

Basic Qualifications:  

• BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering  At Least 5 years electrical system level experience  Experience with developing test requirements and procedures for testing both analog and      digital circuits
• Experience with engineering development and review process  Experience with Data Acquisition Systems  Experience with instrumentation data busses, including IEEE-488.2, VXI, PXI and LXI  Experience with LabVIEW or LabWindows development  US Citizen  

Additional/Desired Qualifications:  

• Experience with C/ATLAS test programming language  Experience with military systems

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc...)
