Senior Tax Accountant

St. Louis MO area accounting firm is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to be responsible for the preparation of corporate, partnership, trust and individual income tax returns.  Will prepare work papers, perform tax research, analyze tax notices and draft responses, and assist in tax planning and the preparation of projections as well as participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, and assist clients with routine accounting functions while assessing their current systems and processes to determine streamlining and automation opportunities.  Additionally, will research tax topics of intermediate complexity and assist in managing, developing and coaching professional tax staff.  Must be a CPA with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and have a minimum of three years of tax experience.  Salary up to $70,000
