Senior Staff Accountant (Remote)

We are looking for a Sr. Staff Accountant who will perform various financial and accounting-related tasks. Candidate should be self-motivated and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This role requires strong analytical abilities and a foundational knowledge of accounting principles. The Sr. Staff Accountant will report to the Director of Finance and must be a team player with a positive attitude and a desire to help the team be successful.

Skills & Requirements:

    BS degree in Accounting or Finance

    5+ years of experience in financial and accounting work

    Advanced MS Office skills. Superior knowledge of Excel is a MUST!

    Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations

    Experience with intercompany transactions, consolidation, and elimination of subsidiaries

    Experience with financial statement preparation and monthly close process

    Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively

    Proactive and highly responsive

    Accounting Software (Intacct), and various SaaS packages are a plus

    High attention to detail and accuracy

    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

    Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, and multi-task across many assignments
