The Position: We are in search of candidates who have software/software development technical skills relevant to the DoD/military environment. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated the interdisciplinary breadth needed to integrate concepts from other fields to support the development of small-scale cyber training ranges that integrate Commercial Off-the-Shelf COTS components. Additionally, ideal candidates will have the experience or ability to learn the development of Cyber physical exploitations against embedded systems made up of hardware and software components for the purposes of training. The candidate will work with leaders, engineers and cybersecurity educators to support hands on training of DoD acquisition professionals at all levels and in all disciplines.

The Description:
• Sound knowledge of software engineering in embedded and enterprise domains
• Hands-on experience developing software for a wide range of applications to include embedded systems, networks and networking, avionics systems, etc.
• Background in engineering, computer science, aircraft systems, ship system, cyber and related technologies is desirable
• Good communication and presentation skills at all levels (worker to leader)
• Good understanding of decision making/recommendations based on cost-benefit-trades that include both technical and non-technical drivers
• Experience in or willingness to learn the development of cyber exploitations of embedded systems and components, network-based enterprise systems and SCADA/IC systems for the purposes of training
• An exceptional individual interested in working collaboratively on challenging problems of importance to our nation’s defense
