Looking to hire an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst professional to start as soon as possible. This position can be remote from anywhere in the US.
This highly analytical role requires a deep understanding of compensation principles and the ability to perform a wide variety of duties including salary structure development and maintenance; integration and standardization of jobs in a complex environment; evaluation/market pricing of positions at all levels of the organization utilizing external market data and internal position comparisons; and managing enterprise-wide projects such as merit compensation administration and salary planning.
Responsibilities:
· Participates in the design, development, execution and communication of compensation programs, tools, and processes
· Advises on organizational compensation policies, practices and procedures and ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
· Plans, develops, implements, and administers a wide variety of employee compensation programs including base pay, merit, incentive, and equity
· Leads annual market pay analysis process, presents findings, and develops market ranges
· Performs analyses of competitive pay practices, economic trends, current market position, and cost impact, system enhancements, and improving analytics
· Develops and prepares various standard and custom reports in support of compensation team and programs
· Partners with Talent Acquisition to develop strategic pay practices and protocols that address recruitment & retention challenges
· Provides advice, guidance and training to managers, employees, and People & Organization colleagues in the interpretation and administration of the organization's compensation programs, policies and with a focus on service and designing programs that meet the business needs
· Engages in comprehensive needs assessments, provides recommendations on how the issue may be addressed, and coordinates and facilitates the execution of the initiative
· Conducts job evaluations, job leveling, and provides salary recommendations ensuring internal equity and market alignment of total compensation
· Develops and delivers communications and training related to compensation programs, polices, and processes
Education, License and Job Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
· 5 years of experience in compensation analysis
· Certified Compensation Professional preferred
· Knowledge of all federal, state, and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation
· Thorough knowledge of best practice compensation policies and practices
· Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications.
Skills and Experience:
· Integration of disparate compensation structures and experience with mergers and acquisitions preferred
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
· Excellent project management, analytical and financial modeling skills
· Demonstrated ability to design, communicate and implement compensation programs
· Attention to detail a must and proven ability to use discretion in dealing with confidential information
