Our client is a leading local civil engineering and consulting firm, dedicated to providing innovative designs according to local regulations and protocol. Through excellent leadership and forty years of success we have opened a new office in Fort Collins, CO just prior to the start of the pandemic to reduce the need for travel and to maintain an active community presence during and between projects and our office is now getting busy.
The ideal candidate would seek to build a career in both civil engineering and management, as we expect the new office will soon support an autonomous team working under your leadership, knowledge, and experience. The successful candidate will understand not only how to design infrastructure, but also how to market it. Business in any competitive environment relies on the first impression clients make of the company and the team. Assuming responsibility for creating the right impressions, an ideal candidate is outgoing and optimistic, with an attitude that inspires enthusiasm in potential customers and employees alike. Experience networking in government and professional circles a plus.
Required Qualifications include:
- Licensed Professional Civil Engineer in Colorado or able to obtain in less than 1 year.
- Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills and experience.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a group/team.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities/projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with different personalities and professional styles.
- Capable problem solver.
