Job Description:

Our client 

has an opportunity for a qualified Senior Civil Designer to join our land development team. Candidates will play a key role in the design and development of land projects. Our projects portfolio includes multi-family residential, commercial  industrial, and community projects. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop comprehensive civil designs that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed civil design plans for land development projects, including grading, drainage, roadways, and utility systems.
  • Utilize design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) to create accurate and efficient design drawings and models.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate design elements and ensure compatibility with overall project goals.
  • Conduct site assessments and analyses to inform design decisions and address any potential issues.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, design calculations, and project documentation.
  • Ensure designs comply with local regulations, zoning laws, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and permits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering preferred or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.  
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil design, with a focus on land development projects.
  • Proficiency in design software, particularly AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, land development processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders.
  • U.S Citizen, U.S Resident with valid green card, or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
