We are the security department at The Merchandise Mart in Chicago, the nation's largest commercial building. We are seeking part-time and seasonal security officers and those without security experience but who have solid communication skills and a professional appearance to staff special events through the year's end and perhaps beyond. Starting pay is $15.45-per-hour.
Progressive and dynamic security company. We operate 24-hours each day, 365-days per year.
theMART Security works closely with the Chicago Police and Fire Department providing rapid and reliable response for the building.
The Security Operation Center, located in Suite 133A on the first floor of theMART, coordinates all activities and is open 24/7. After hours there is a secondary Security Command Post located in the South Lobby is manned and serves the same purpose. All security personnel carry two-way communication devices to facilitate communication and response.
