Apricot Lane Legacy Boutique is seeking a part-time Sales Lead for our Shops at Legacy location in west Plano, TX. Apricot Lane Legacy is a locally owned, women's fashion boutique featuring fashion-forward apparel, the hottest trends, accessories, and gifts. We are looking for experienced, talented, and fashionable individuals with a personal sense of style who are dedicated to delivering a captivating experience to our customers.

 

The successful Sales Lead will have specialty retail experience with a strong emphasis on leading their sales team, using effective verbal and written communication skills to train, develop, and coach stylists. Sales Leads are responsible for motivating the team of stylists to meet and exceed sales goals while providing a superior level of customer service.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive the business results by maximizing daily sales plans and improving performance through floor leadership and continuous coaching
  • Train sales associates through floor leadership and continuous coaching
  • Interact regularly with customers ensuring a positive experience
  • Manage guest relationships and set expectations for customer retention and client-book follow up
  • Understanding of retail sales and their relationship to inventory levels, with the ability to communicate needs directly to the owner
  • Performs various sales and register transactions including ringing purchases, processing of cash or credit payments and counting money
  • Working alone or in cooperative team setting to ensure daily goals are met
  • Enforce, train, and coach stylists on company standard
  • Evening, weekend and holiday work required

 

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience leading a retail sales team
  • 2+ years retail sales experience
  • Outgoing and engaging personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication / listening skills
  • Proactive and creative problem-solving ability
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Ability to be on the feet most of the day, or moving on the sales floor or stock room
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Flexibility, adaptability and able to work weekends, nights and holidays
  • Able to resolve conflicts quickly and efficiently
  • Experience in a leadership role is a plus
