The hiring company is a cybersecurity company dedicated to supporting small businesses in the Aerospace and Defense sector, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards such as NIST 800-171, DFARS 7012, and CMMC. With esteemed clients including the US Air Force and the Defense Innovation Unit, they've recently secured substantial investments from early backers of leading companies like Snowflake, Robinhood, and Anduril, positioning them for remarkable growth.

About the Role:
As a Senior Sales Development Representative, your primary focus will be identifying and qualifying prospective accounts efficiently. Joining an early-stage startup, we are seeking individuals with a hunger for success and a willingness to learn and grow alongside the hiring company. Your responsibilities will encompass inbound follow-up, outbound outreach, nurturing leads, and coordinating initial meetings.

This is a full-time position based in downtown San Francisco and offers uncapped commission potential (not available for C2C or contractors). Additionally, the hiring company's comprehensive benefits package includes health, vision, dental coverage, and a 401k plan for employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a scalable outreach strategy to be shared with future SDRs.
  • Provide the company with strong, qualified sales leads.
  • Create an organized approach to prospecting, allowing for feedback and guidance.
  • Generate qualified opportunities in Hubspot and maintain overall CRM hygiene.
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a B2B SAAS role involving 60+ cold calls per day maximum of 3 years.
  • A favorable view of the US Military, as the hiring company serves companies in the US Defense industry.
  • Willingness to relocate, if necessary.
  • Commitment to on-site work at the hiring company's downtown San Francisco office.
  • Salary expectation alignment with the offered package.
Salary:
  • Base Salary: $60,000
  • Variable Compensation: $25,000 (Uncapped Commission)
  • OTE: $85,000

Visa Sponsorship Not Available:
Candidates must be US Citizens due to the hiring company's involvement with ITAR and Export Controlled Data. Work authorization or Green Cards are not sufficient.

On-Site Work Policy:
This is an on-site role at the hiring company's San Francisco office, conveniently located in the financial district. Candidates who can easily commute "door to door" Financial District, San Francisco, are highly preferred.
