Title : RF SW/HW Engineer
Location - Menlo Park, CA, USA
Onsite Role (NOT REMOTE)
Contract - 1+ Years 
Experience Range - 3-15 years

Role & Responsibilities

RF board bring up , RFFE driver development , RF path validation.
Collaboration with both RF and baseband system, RF HW, Baseband and Protocol SW teams in integration and system validation..
Design, develop and optimize performance in cellular modem processing algorithms for dynamic antenna switching , antenna tuner , power, and thermal modules to enhance field performance, factory yield, and RF testability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver RF SW features and fixes.
Develop test framework for automation of RF feature functional and performance validation for LTE/5G-NR 3GPP compliance and product expectation.

Qualification & Experience

Education & Experience: BS in EE/CS required, MS in EE/CS preferred. 5+ years wireless experience
Experience in embedded firmware elements such as PHY RF drivers , real-time execution, and debug tools as well as embedded application software.
Strong C programming skills and Python scripting experience.
Knowledge of mobile communications in 4G/5G 3GPP protocols and physical layer & radio aspects.
Knowledge of mobile communications, RF transceiver, antenna tuning, adaptive algorithm, SAR/MPE, RF calibration.
Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment (CMW 500, Keysight UXM, Agilent 8960, Anritsu 8820C, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, etc.).
