As a RF Field Technician & Product Support Specialist you will be a key member in our service and support teams working with, and supporting our clients, customers and other staff members. You will be responsible for providing in-office technical software and/ or hardware assistance, problem resolution, guidance, and training to end-users (customers and other internal staff) of the company’s proprietary real-time Radio Frequency network testing and monitoring solution, WINd®. You also will have the opportunity to do a variety of field activities associated with RF and wireless networks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following…

  • Product subject matter expert. Stays current on product information, changes, and updates that have been released or are currently in pre-release testing.
  • Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services.
  • Accurately process and record transactions using a computer and designated tracking software (ticketing system).
  • Work with the product on Android mobile devices, including firmware, rooting, terminal command, etc.
  • Assist with and support the development of processes and procedures within the departments.
  • Review and/or gather project and customer information relative to the work to be completed and determine the issue by evaluating and analyzing the symptoms. Troubleshoot and resolve issues/tickets based on information gathered. Escalating to the development team, when appropriate. Documenting resolution in the tracking system and update in knowledgebase, if not otherwise recorded.
  • Provides regular and detailed updates from the field and testing venues on each day of testing.
  • Assist Engineers with tests and/or analysis of installed equipment.
  • Maintains equipment provided by the company as directed.
  • Adheres to safety guidelines and requirements.

This is an hourly,  non-exempt full-time, in-house position with our company. As a full-time employee, the incumbent would be eligible for holiday pay (six days) and to participate in our company-sponsored benefits (3 medical plans, dental, voluntary vision, voluntary short term disability, and voluntary life and AD&D insurance), 401K, and PTO program.
