Retail Sales Manager

LEXE Boutique (located in Pac Heights off of Fillmore Street) is looking for an upbeat, motivated, sales-driven Retail Store Manager who’s all about the hustle! Confident, energetic, and ambitious, Store Managers are the leaders of LEXE Boutique. Your strategic thinking, passion for retail, and your ability to connect with people will help you to thrive in this role. 2+ years sales experience preferred - must have a creative eye, impeccable customer service skills and willingness to go above-and-beyond. We need you to be a fast mover and able to deal with all kinds of scenarios  that arise in everyday retail. Bonus points if you’re social media savvy and interested in helping manage and grow our active Instagram community! 

General Responsibilities 

• Maintain, enforce and supervise merchandising standards with regard to selling, stocking, cleaning and maintenance
• Oversee store opening and closing, visual merchandising, floor planning, display and outfitting
• Responsible for store overall appearance, including cleanliness and organization of back stock and floor merchandise 
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with all company associates in both written and verbal form
• Communicate with owner and affiliates regarding maintenance, supplies, tech support, issues/concerns with employees, merchandise needs 
• Participate in daily updates and weekly meetings regarding customer issues, product trends, associate performance and other key issues 

Sales Duties 

• Promote and drive sales through effective customer service practices, inventory control and the management of design and displays
• Promote our style and inventory via photo shoots and social media posts 
• Sales reporting/POS closings generated on LightSpeed POS
• General banking responsibilities
• Responsible for hitting personal daily and monthly sales targets 
• Lead, motivate and empower sales associates in achieving sales goals 

Staff Duties 

• Manage, schedule and coach staff (1-2 part-time employees) on setting customer service goals and standards
• Delegate, supervise and manage day-to-day responsibilities, ensuring that everyone is doing their part
• Oversee staff culture, creating a positive, fun and efficient workplace environment 

Required Experience

• Excel/Microsoft Office
• LightSpeed POS (not required but preferred)
• Staff Scheduling
• Previous Retail Management (with glowing referrals) 
• Strong record of hitting daily and monthly store sales goals
• Experience training, maintaining and uplifting a sales team
• Visual Merchandising
• Styling Photo Shoots 
• Receiving Merchandise
• Backstock/Inventory Control
• Some knowledge of Social Media

• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Time and a half for any overtime hours
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
