Responsibilities:
+ Planning, directing, and coordinating nursing services in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations and Arbutus Park Manor’s policies and procedures.
+Supervising nursing units and medical staff
+Making rounds with physicians, processing physicians’ orders, assessing the medical condition of residents, and assisting with medical treatments.
Requirements:
+Proficient reading, writing, grammar, mathematics, and computer skills
+Knowledge of current long-term care nursing practices
+ Must be able to lift and carry over 50 pounds horizontal, overhead, floor to waist, grasping/holding, pushing/pulling
+ Must be able to walk, climb, bend/stoop, overhead reach, hand/eye coordination, arm/hand movement per shift, consistently on your feet
+ Have a positive attitude
+ Work well with others
+ Graduate of an approved school of nursing
+ Current Pennsylvania license to practice as a Registered Nurse or General Practical Nurse
