Job Responsibilities

• Function autonomously to conduct patient histories and physicals for complex critical, chronically ill, and acute patients.
• Order, perform, and analyze diagnostic and therapeutic tests concerning the needs of the patient, and follow up on a regular basis to ensure their needs are being adequately met.
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities to ensure the health and comfort of all patients.
• Implement measures to assist patients in regaining and sustaining physiologic endurance to include serving in the first assisting role.
• Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals and monitoring the effectiveness of all interventions.
• Facilitate the staff and the patient as well as the family decision-making process by providing educational tools for self-management of acute or chronic illnesses.

MORE DETAILS

• 350 bed hospital at Author Ashe Tennis Courts 

• 750 Bed hospital at Brooklyn Cruise Terminal 

Starting April 7th (must be willing to do at least 30 days) Could go to end of May.

Providers Will have Per Diem

To start it will be 7 days 12.5 hour shifts. OT/Premium Pay will be after 40 hours.

Once hospital gets established they will go to a 4 day/3 off schedule.

All Travel is covered.

All PPE will be provided.

At the end of the assignment their will be a 14 day quarantine period (Will be paid everyday for this time period).
