Guardian Healthcare Providers Inc. is a trusted staffing solutions partner providing healthcare personnel to specialized facilities and organizations throughout the mid-west, south, and southeastern United States.
We are currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to work Full Time at one of our client's Correctional Facility in Crawfordville, Florida.

Responsibilities

The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:
8-Hr and 12-Hr Day and Night shifts.
All will include every other weekend.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Registered Nurses must have minimum of 1 year experience.
• Registered Nurses must possess an active, unrestricted Florida license
• Registered Nurses must be competent, knowledgeable, and skilled in basic adult health care
• Current Health Clearance, including HBV vaccination or declination
• Current CPR card from the American Heart Association
• TB clearance
• Pass FL DOC background, fingerprinting and drug screen.

Our client facilities integrate our full-time assigned personnel into their existing teams, rather than separating them as “temp” staffs.  They work a full-time rotating shift as other facility employees, but typically fill more night shifts or mandated shifts, or a greater number of weekends.  They receive the same training and team supervision as facility employees.  This approach increases retention improves continuity, morale, and reduces turnover.

By decreasing the overtime, turnover, recruiting and other HR costs, our program assists in eliminating the “revolving door” effect that comes with PRN, and temporary staffing solutions. Our program is proven to help stabilize our client’s workforce and turnover ratios.
