Regional Coordinator

We are searching for a Regional Coordinator for a substance abuse treatment program servicing New York State. This person would already have an established network of potential referral sources within the behavioral health services field and could promote the various services offered by our programs in their assigned geographical territory.

The ideal candidate is someone who can effectively get the word out in the community, can learn and articulate the agency’s brand and works with other partner providers to connect our patients to desired services.

• You know and adhere to HIPAA privacy and confidentiality standards.
• When you call into local hospitals, counseling centers, other substance abuse providers and various advocacy groups, people know who you are, recognize your name (in a good way), and you have an established reputation
• When you’re working with potential clients, you know how to help them determine right level of care, navigate the healthcare system, and know how to provide good direction for accessing various types of behavioral health benefits and services.
• You’re comfortable making health education related presentations to new people.
• People generally like working with you.

What we think you’ll need:

• Prior healthcare marketing experience, at least three or more years.
• A Bachelor's degree, CASAC
• Existing professional relationships in this field (drug and/or alcohol treatment experience preferred), and a hands-on knowledge of behavioral health services, lingo, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
