Converse Electric is hiring an experienced all-star with recruitment skills and an innovative approach to interviewing candidates to help us light the path toward future growth. If you're a pro at sourcing candidates, can conduct phone interviews in your sleep, and have an electric personality that engages prospective employees at job fairs and open houses, we should talk!
 

As our Recruiter...

You will be instrumental in the growth of our team by finding great talent – utilizing your skillset to facilitate the recruiting process - from candidate sourcing - matching their skillset to open roles, to candidate screening and more. Our team is our most valuable asset – and your role will be to communicate why candidates should choose Converse Electric while sparking their excitement to become our next team member.


Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing and implementing an overall recruiting strategy focused on both skilled trades and office personnel
  • Developing and implementing traditional and non-traditional recruiting methods to source, identify, and attract quality candidates such as: cold calling, networking, internet posting/job boards, social media, employee referrals, headhunting and other creative methods
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with recruiting sources including candidates, employees, trade school and college officials, business associations, state job agencies etc. to foster an ongoing pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Meeting or preferably exceeding, weekly recruiting activity metrics

Your Work Location…

This position is a hybrid role - you can work a flexible schedule remotely with some time required to be spent in our Grove City, OH office.

In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the required qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter) with 3+ years of recruiting experience in construction, skilled trades, office personnel, or comparable roles
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of a variety of recruiting tools, processes, job boards/websites and standard recruiting etiquettes
  • Able to create and implement sourcing and recruitment strategies for a variety of roles – both field and office
  • Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, possessing excellent phone mannerism while creating & sustaining positive relationships
