Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Staff React Native Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of our mobile applications. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality mobile solutions that enhance our user experience and drive business growth. Candidates must also be proficient in backend development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of React Native applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Architect and implement scalable, high-performance mobile solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver seamless and performant applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing and code reviews.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in development practices and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years of experience in mobile application development.
• Proficiency in React Native and its core principles.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex mobile applications.
• Experience with backend development and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience optimizing React Native applications.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of mobile applications.
• Knowledge of backend technologies and API integration, such as Fastify and GraphQL.
• Experience with Expo.
