Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in handling the responsibilities outlined above
• Preferred: 2 – 3 years working knowledge of Faro Arm (CMM), Cam 2 Measurement, or CMM Manager
• 2 - 3 years working experience in the semiconductor industry a plus
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and inspection instructions
• Ability to understand and use standard inspection tools
• Able to communicate in oral and written form
• Good decision-making skills
• Knowledge of GD&T dimensioning
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Functions & Responsibilities:

Responsible for First-Article, final assembly, incoming, and/or in-process inspections of machined, tubing, and/or sheet metal parts and assemblies. Verify conformance to standards of product, including raw materials or purchased complete parts, to ensure the quality and reliability of products to technical specifications.

• Work directly with departmental groups to create and maintain weekly management reports to highlight key quality issues that require action
• Independently drive and direct actions with departmental groups to maintain MRB and RMA issues
• Capability of developing and implementing specialized tests and measurements on a wide variety of inspection equipment such as a Faro Arm (CMM)
• Maintain records using internal ERP system and provide specific information to identify nonconformance issues and root cause issues that can be used to reduce overall scrap rates and reduce in-process inspection rejection rates
• In-process inspection duties and/or perform incoming inspection when called upon for both purchased and customer supplied product
• Review of paperwork to ensure that all necessary documentation is included and complete
• Inspection of the finished product per published company procedures and standards
• Maintain all inspection records as required
• Perform First Article Inspection
• Customer source inspection duties
• Performs other duties as assigned
