Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Reports to: Farm Manager

Job Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet established quality standards and comply with safety regulations. This position will be responsible for conducting inspections, collecting data, and analyzing results to identify areas for improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of all products to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
  • Collect data and analyze results to identify areas for improvement in the production process
  • Work with the production team to develop and implement corrective action plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections, including test results, quality control data, and other relevant information
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the production process 6. Communicate with management regarding quality control issues and recommendations for improvement
  • Participate in training programs for employees to promote a culture of quality and safety
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Farm Manager

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Food Science, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in quality control or a related field
  • Understanding of quality control procedures and regulations
  • Ability to collect and analyze data using statistical methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications as needed

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions

Work Environment:
  • This position will work primarily in a warehouse or production environment, with occasional outdoor work as needed.
  • Exposure to potentially hazardous materials and conditions may be required.
