Now hiring multiple experienced QC Associates to assist a growing biotech company on the forefront of the COVID-19 response. Second shift: 3 pm to 11:30 pm.

MUST have: high school diploma, awesome Microsoft Excel and Word skills, great written and oral communication, high energy, experience in biotech manufacturing, experience as a QC for raw materials, understanding of Good Lab Practices (GLP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Responsibilities (training provided):
· Perform incoming inspections of all raw materials.
· Operate all equipment safely, as trained and directed, in accordance with established practices.
· Maintain material identification and status control.
· Execute test and inspection procedures in compliance with written and approved standard operating procedures.
· Collect, process, and analyze data.
· Summarize data to monitor/trend product performance.
· Supports weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics.
· Supports process and product improvement projects.
· Supports troubleshooting and lab investigations.
· Create and own low to medium risk Non-Conformances/ Deviations / CAPAs.
· Recommend and execute test procedure updates.
· Performs tasks related to QC functional responsibilities such as, stability, validations, sample retention program, customer complaints, inventory maintenance, and continuous improvement efforts.
· Provides training to other QC personnel.
· Reviews manufacturing batch records for accuracy, completeness, and GDP.
· Always complies with Good Lab Practices (GLP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
· Embodies cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company culture.
· Other activities as deemed necessary by the QC management team.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Ability to work long hours and execute under pressure with short turnaround times.
· Ability to speak, write, and use all office equipment including scanner and printer, phone, computer, etc.
· Regular use of fine motor skills.
· Ability to lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 30 pounds.
· Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
· Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
· Available weekends, and holidays when needed.
