QA WebServices Automation Tester

Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Technical Consultant in our Pleasanton office.

Responsibilities

• Software testing for Java web services
• building test automation frameworks
• Develop/Design large software systems
• Validate and certify web services using the Soap UI tool with Groovy scripting
• Integrate uatomate test suites with CI/Cd Jenkins pipeline
• Contribute to test automation infrastructure by writing and augmenting test scripts and/or test libraries
• Analyze failures, reproduce issues, isolate problems, and identify root causes in conjunction with developers

• Bachelor’s degree
• Deep Web QA software testing experience
• Atleast 4+ years of development and/or test automation experience
• Ability to Measure and report test coverage across all applicable dimensions
• Knowledge of all or some of below tools/technologies -
• Selenium/Java Scripting
• Bobcat, Cucumber
• Test script/test library creation thru Bitbucket/GIT
• Soap UI tool with Groovy scripting
• CI/CD Operations thru Jenkins
• Atlassian tool suite and QTest
• Knowledge of current technologies, application software development, Agile and iterative development methodologies
• Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Flexible to new situations and challenges
• Prefer candidates that have the ability to travel up to 50 percent.
