Job Description:

The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy, a Children’s Advocacy Center and NCTSN Cat III site in Atlanta GA, is seeking a full-time clinician to provide therapy to children who have experienced trauma (i.e. sexual abuse, physical abuse, witness to violence, and commercial sexual exploitation) and children with problematic sexual behaviors. Applicants must have a Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related field, be licensed or license-eligible in Georgia, and have a minimum of 1 year experience serving abused, traumatized, or at-risk children and families. Priority will be given to licensed applicants who are experienced in the provision of Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Problematic Sexual Behaviors- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or other trauma-focused and trauma-informed evidence-based treatments. The ideal candidate has strong written and oral communication skills, works effectively in a team environment, has knowledge of the child welfare and legal systems, is skilled at developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with others (clients, caregivers, co-workers, professionals from other agencies and organizations), and is committed to the principles of cultural humility. Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
