Protégé Program

This program provides individuals seeking an entrepreneurial opportunity with access to a 12-month development program that will provide training to become an agency owner with Farmers. You will work for a mentor agency owner and have access to resources that can help you establish skill sets for future excellence, while learning the business and benefiting from a nationally recognized brand. The ideal candidate will possess:

1. The desire to build and grow their own successful agency.
2. Background in entrepreneurial growth
3. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and learn from a mentor district manager and business coach
4. Self-motivation and independence
 

Responsibilities
 

• Work existing leads, develop new leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs and market appropriate products.
• Establish client relationships and follow up with customers in a timely manner to provide exceptional and extraordinary service.
• Ensure that all quotes, procedures and practices are compliant with Farmers and Virginia Department of Insurance.
• Work independently and with mentoring/coaching.
• Multi-task, organized and driven to meet deadlines.

• Obtain both P&C and L&H Licenses with a strong interest in securities licensing preferred
