Propane Tech

Duties and Responsibilities change with the seasons: 

• Drive a bobtail or bulk delivery truck to customer sites to fill all size tanks for both residential and commercial
• Deliveries range from 20 – 30 customer stops on a typical day
• Operate machinery to move tanks as necessary (crane, dolly, pallet jack, etc)
• Operate vehicle and all equipment in safe and professional manner following all State and Federal laws
• Follow all company procedures and safety protocols
• Cooperate with the team and share information across the organization
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment in proper condition
• Perform company related maintenance of tanks, bulk plants, equipment, etc.
• On-call rotation for after-hour emergencies Technician must have a strong focus on safety and preventative maintenance.

Licenses and/or Certifications:

• CDL B,
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement, or ability to obtain
• Driving experience
• Willing to obtain gas certifications, Gas fitter license
• Mechanically inclined
• Must be 21 years of age
• Clean driving history
• Clean Background Check
• Must be able to pass Random Drug tests
• Positive Attitude and Willing to work
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, pull, push equipment in propane environment. Minimum of 50 pounds.
• Work/Drive during weather conditions such as heavy rain, snow, ice, etc.

Blue Flame is a small family-owned propane company. We provide everything from installation of new tanks, gas piping, and regular deliveries. We service both residential and commercial needs. We provide temporary heat during construction phases of a project through maintaining supply during daily operations, we meet all of our customers demands for propane and services.
