Title: Project Manager II

Job Description: 
The Project Manager II creates and executes project work plans for IT or Business projects and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of the organization. The Project Manager II will directly interface with IT’s internal customers at the Manager and Director levels.


Requirements:
    Possess thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques and tools.
    Possess strong and tested project management skills, including risk management.
    Proven abilities in problem management, process analysis and root cause analysis.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Ability to work in a complex and matrixes team environment.
    Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule and meet deadlines.
    Skills in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
    12Years Government Experience is a plus.
    12 Years experience of information systems.
    12 Years project management experience.
    Managed enterprise level projects.
    Bachelor’s Degree
    Minimum of 12 years experience in overseeing medium to large scaled projects comprised of sub-projects and distinct deliverables associated with requirements gathering, application solutioning, audits, code reviews, and testing; typically coordinates and delegates the assignments for the consultant project staff numbering over 30; focal point of contact regarding strategic planning activities, project status and oversight, meetings, reporting requirements, scope changes, and financial, administrative, and technical issues and concerns raised by project team or Requesting Agency
    Possess excellent oral and written communications skills and strong leadership aptitude
    Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams on technically and politically complex implementations
    Must take initiative and show confidence in decisions made
    Must demonstrate integrity and be forthcoming about project obstacles.
