We are seeking a candidate that:
-is self-motivated, capable of creating their own structure, and is resourceful.
-has references that can attest to their capability of managing multiple ongoing projects fluidly.
-has proficient administration and project management skills; can efficiently maintain complicated projects under deadline constraints.
-can demonstrate clear communication and follow up skills in English. This means having at least a general understanding of construction and architectural jargon.
-is proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Uses word processing, spreadsheet, database, and email software.
-has good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
-uses computer programs specific to the construction industry, such as scheduling and estimating software.
While project coordination experience is essential, it would be ideal if our candidate also had at least two years of experience in construction work, relating to:
-preparing contracts and negotiating changes to contracts with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
-developing and implementing quality control programs.Preparing progress reports for clients.
-managing the purchase and inventoryof building materialsPreparing submittals.Tracking budgets, contracts, records, etc.
-writing subcontracts and purchase orders.Preparing RFI's.
-working efficiently with superintendents and project managers.
-managing relations with vendors, managers, etc.
-read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
