The Career Education Options (CEO) Program offers 16 to 21-year-olds without a high school diploma the chance to return to school for the education and job training needed for a successful career. The CEO program provides students with the needed tools to succeed in the college environment and achieve their educational goals. This program is run in coordination with King County and Shoreline’s other youth reengagement program, Learning Center North (LCN).
 
The CEO Program Coordinator is one of the CEO Program’s key administrative and office staff. Under the general direction of the Associate Dean of Transitional Studies and CEO/LCN Director, this position is responsible for the overall coordination and operation of the CEO Program office, including general operational processes, billing/invoicing, student data tracking and input, faculty onboarding, and other essential tasks. The CEO Program Coordinator is responsible for providing program information to potential CEO students as well as program policies, content, and procedures to staff, faculty and the public. Further, this position is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the processes and record-keeping associated with student admission, registration and retention using HP3000 and ctcLink, Skyward, and King County databases. The CEO program coordinator will also coordinate small administrative tasks from the LCN program as the College’s go-between.
 
Essential Job Duties:

  • Support, coordinate, and improve (as needed) the CEO Program’s core operational components 
  • Provide information and guidance to potential CEO students, parents, community organizations and staff regarding program content, policies and procedures
  • Act as central program contact and point-person for students, parents and community members, directing them to appropriate services and resources
  • Implement, coordinate, and monitor OSPI eligibility guidelines and maintain student database for 500+ students a year through the K-12 state system, creating student accounts and entering and exiting all students. 
  • Coordinate, review, and process new student files and registration as well as assist with graduation progress
  • Coordinate with CEO Case Managers to register students using the HP3000 and ctcLink, and use King County database for student notes and progress reports
  • Complete new hiring documents and support onboarding for CEO/LCN faculty as well as oversee quarterly faculty contracts and CEO/LCN course construction
  • Track and arrange faculty observations and student evaluations, and schedule classrooms 
  • Coordinate/lead various resource programs for CEO students, including the King County Metro reduced fare bus ticket program, bookstore vouchers, and the book lending program
  • Oversee and coordinate fiscal processes such as invoice payment vouchers, purchase requisitions, and purchases like office supply orders and textbooks
  • Coordinate/oversee billing and invoicing process for CEO/LCN, including creating reports for billing and payment 
  • Other duties as assigned of a similar level/nature
