Process Improvement Leader - 100-130K + Bonus – Consumer Durables Manufacturing - Duties: *Working toward improving the manufacturing processes; *Working with the Engineering Manager to define and scope improvement opportunities; *Executing and leading CI Projects; *Developing/applying necessary technical skills to deliver desired results; *Developing strong technical network with plant resources; *Engaging line/process/department personnel in all phases of CI work; *Will be responsible for training (Green Belts) and developing team members and other plant personnel; *Maintaining appropriate documentation from project charter to final reports.

 

BS Engineering degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering disciplines preferred - MS/MBA a plus - SKILLS: *5+ years of continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment; *Experience looking at a process, drive for a project and manage multiple projects; *Strong Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma experience; *Experience holding or leading Kaizen events; *Six Sigma Black Belt certification or Master Black Belt a plus; *Training and mentoring skills to develop (or eventually develop) Green Belts; *The ability to travel (minimal) - Experienced in lean manufacturing (Six Sigma, Toyota Production Systems, 5S, Kaizen) - Experienced in promoting continuous improvement activities throughout the manufacturing process; Preferred Skills: Six Sigma (DFSS / DMAIC / Lean); Product/process problem solving; New product development; Project / Team Management; Global experience; Customer / Supplier management
