StaffBuffalo is thrilled to be working with one of our fantastic Manufacturing clients in Buffalo to hire a Temporary-to-Possible-Hire 2nd shift Press Operator paying $20.00 per hour! This Press Operator will be an essential member of the manufacturing team and will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the Flexographic Press while on site. They will be expected to perform routine Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) on manufacturing equipment and will work to ensure customer requirements regarding quality, timeliness, and safety are consistently met. This Press Operator will work closely with Press Helpers and Packagers to ensure a smooth operation within the facility and will consistently update and maintain MDI boards, in addition to, accurately reporting labor sheets, shift changeover, and Hour by Hour Tracking. It is imperative that this Press Operator can consistently lift 50lbs unaided from floor to chest, demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and excellent analytical skills. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and safety minded.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 + years experience in Machine Operation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Mechanical skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent Analytical skills
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
