Post Closing

Job Summary:
The Post Closer is responsible to effectively review the executed loan documents, disburse checks and ship packages. This position requires extreme independent judgment and the knowledge and experience necessary to efficiently handle the post-closing functions in order to finalize the escrow process.

Job Roles:

• Ensure company receives fully executed files in a timely fashion from closing agents;
• Facilitates review, correction if needed, and delivery of completed packages to lender;
• Works to obtain signature on missing or additional documents;
• Remedy post-closing issues through contact with closing agents and consumers;
• Monitoring and responding to questions/information at post closing email addresses;
• Cut checks and ship disbursements;
• Timely and accurate sending of recordings to proper counties for recording;
• Monitor incoming recording;
• Assist customers and clients with funding related questions;
• Correspond with lenders, builders, real estate agents and attorneys as needed;
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Role Specific Knowledge:

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title industry field.
• Formerly in an Escrow Assistant or Post Closer role.
• Good client relations and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Detail-oriented and professional; able to handle confidential information.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to deal with multiple types of roles such as real estate sellers, buyers, agents and brokers.
