Piano & Institution Relationship Manager: Willis Music, Exclusive Representative for Steinway and Sons

Willis Music and Steinway and Sons are hiring a Sales Professional to lead piano sales, coordinate institutional relationships, and create relationships with teachers. This position assumes responsibility for sales, events management, lead/ prospect generation, and promotion. Steinway and Sons and their related brands represent a premier luxury brand recognized around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Piano Department in our flagship Kenwood location
• Achieve sales budgets both with institutions and individuals
• Inventory management, maintaining the highest quality and appearance for the department
• Attend and contribute to sales meetings
• Maintain a prospect development system
• Vigorously pursue leads and opportunities
• Demonstrate products to individuals and in a group setting
• Cultivate relationships with centers of influence in the music community

Requirements

• Passion for music, ability to play
• A deep desire to assist others with their musical desires and needs
• Proven history of sales success
• Professional personal appearance
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Excellent communication skills
• High degree of persistence and determination
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and special events
• Desire and ability to regularly attend musical performances.
