Part-Time Personal Assistant

A busy Nonprofit Founder and her spouse need a highly organized and personable Personal Assistant to support them in managing their personal and professional lives. This is a part-time position of approximately 15 hours per week working with the wife (Nonprofit Founder) as the primary client. Scheduling of hours is flexible, however, the personal assistant will be expected to work within the home office at least two half days a week, coordinating their schedule to coincide with the client. The PA will be expected to be available for calls and assignments throughout the week during normal business hours Monday-Friday. The PA is not expected to be available weekends or evenings except for the occasional emergency or priority phone or text.
Flexibility and organization are key along with a willingness to learn new, challenging skills and perform the tasks needed to keep the household running. At times, the personal assistant will work closely with the Administration Manager of the wife’s nonprofit, the family’s accountants, and the husband’s office assistant. This job requires flexibility, strong interpersonal skills & attention to detail. Comfort with financial issues, tax organization and working with accountants are integral to the job. Previous experience as a PA with references is a must. Office experience is a plus. The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal background and credit check as a condition of employment.
