PC Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a PC Technician in Oakland, CA. Role Purpose: The candidate will be responsible for providing direct installation, diagnostic and problem resolution for all personal computer (PC) hardware, related PC peripheral devices, software and network services for all company employees. This position is also responsible for providing installation, diagnostic and problem resolution relating to network servers, cabling, interconnect facilities, printing services, data protection, data recovery services and remote communications as directed. The candidate should be able to function independently with minimal oversight and direction. They may instruct and guide lower level technical professionals. Assignments are broad in nature and complex in scope. They typically design and develop approaches that are implemented by others.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Generally, requires 5 to 8 years of professional experience directly related to all aspects of the primary product, program or technology
• Ability encompasses in-depth knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization
