Parts Manager

 Summary:

 We are recruiting for a large, full service equipment rental company and we have an immediate opening for a Parts Manager.

Parts Manager Responsibilities include managing and supervising all parts processing, developing annual objectives for the parts department at 2 locations. In addition develop goals and objectives for each parts employee and pssr to maintain current customer base by providing a reliable parts supply to the customer.

 Job Requirements:

 4-5 years previous parts operations and inventory management experience

• Ability to obtain and prepare parts quotes
• Order and manage parts inventory for rental equipment fleet
• Manage parts ordering from manufacturers and communicating with vendors for special purchases and expediting back orders
• Scheduling opening and closing hours for employees
• Coordinating with Sales and Service departments on a daily basis
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the construction or heavy equipment industry a plus
• Previous experience with P&L, budgeting and forecasting
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft office software such as Excel, Outlook and Word
• Must possess exceptional customer service, organization and time management and communication skills.
