Job Description:
The Logistics Department manages the processing, sorting, shipping and distribution of incoming and outgoing company mail. The Logistics Processor communicates internally within the company and externally with clients. Working in the Logistics Department is a great way to meet people within the company and can open many doors for advancement opportunities in the future!
Responsibilities:
Keep record of all mails received using the computer system in a particular order to be able to identify date of receipt, where and whom it was sent to for easy identification. This process helps in tracking mails and packages and prevents losses.
Fill relevant details in distribution and shipping forms, providing accurate information to ensure that mails are delivered to the right locations and people.
Scan and send any legal documents to clients via email.
Maintain supply inventory, including shipping and mailing envelopes, boxes, markers, forms stickers, and tape available to ensure that they don’t go out of stock. Constant communication encouraged with direct manager regarding inventory levels.
Execute high volumes of scan documents.
Identify incoming mail related to clients, research and contact client with copies of received mail.
Assist with back up incoming calls from the front desk as directed.
Additional projects assigned as needed by different departments such as labeling and mail outs.
Assist with special projects assigned by Manager
Cross train with the Front Desk Receptionist
Qualifications:
Verbal and oral communication skills: Mail-room clerks should be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, receivers, clients, and the management to avoid errors in sending mails.
The Logistics Processor needs to proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for mail record keeping.
The Logistics Processor needs to have the ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure to take on various tasks at the same time and complete them without errors.
Ability to work under pressure: The work at the mail-room requires meeting deadlines, therefore, the clerk should be able to handle the pressure that comes with it.
Strong data entry skills.
Organizational skills: The clerk should be able to arrange their work schedule and the mail-room in such a way that will promote their efficiency on the job

Must be able to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:00pm-5:30pm
Must be adaptable
Education:
High School Diploma required
