Major responsibilities are as follows:

The Palletizer operates a suction system to place boxes of finished goods onto pallets as is consistent with customers’ specifications.

• Unload packed boxes of product from the conveyor to a pallet.
• Use a suction system to lift and transfer boxes of product from the conveyor to a pallet.
• Arrange boxes according to specified pallet configuration.
• Assist and fill in for employees on the packaging line as needed.
• Notify supervisor of unusual problems, delays, and/or safety issues.
• Follow SOP’s, GMP’s safety rules, sanitation rules, good housekeeping procedures, and company rules of conduct.
• Report food safety problems.
• Participate in all company training for food safety and plant safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• This is an entry level position. 
• Some packing or picking experience is preferred. 
• Prior palletizing experience is helpful.  Ability to lift-up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to read English and follow pallet configurations. 
• No diploma is required. 
• Must be willing and able to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
