Outside Mortgage Banker

KS & Associates is representing a direct lender based in Aliso Viejo, that's leading the mortgage industry. This lender is DBO licensed in CA, NMLS licensed in CA, TX, CO, AZ.  This lender is looking for Outside Mortgage Bankers to expand their brand, and this position can be anywhere throughout California.  The Outside Mortgage Banker will have an established book of business, as this position is 100% self-sourced.  The company has competitive rates and a vast array of loan products including Conventional, FHA, FHA Streamlines, VA, VA IRRRL, Jumbo, Reverse, Harp 2.0, Non-QM, USDA, and niche/specialty programs such as down payment/closing cost assistance programs to meet the needs of any borrower.  This lender has an efficient processing team that produces minimal underwriting conditions!  The Outside Mortgage Banker will be teamed with a TOP notch Transaction Coordinator to assist with files from the very beginning. This allows our Outside Mortgage Bankers the ability to focus their time and energy on originating and networking with Realtors. The commission plan is very lucrative and benefits include: medical, dental, and vision (company makes a contribution towards benefits). 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 

• Promote self and company to grow market share and achieve production goals.
• Provide complete loan applications and supporting documents.
• Utilize materials, reference tools, and other resources to provide accurate and up-to-date loan program/policy information to customers and business partners.
• Initiate the loan process and manage application from file start to closing using various systems.
• Making calls upon contacts in the industry to solicit business and meet with consumers.
• Meet with customers during various stages of the loan process as needed.
• Assist and communicate with consumers throughout the loan process.
• Consult with consumers about their current and future needs and goals.
• Advise and educate consumers about the home purchase or refinance process, and how to better manage their mortgages by discussing loan terms, rates, fees, and other costs.
• Know applicable laws and regulations as well as industry standards, company rules and policies.
• Contact consumers and referral partners to establish new business opportunities.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Outside Mortgage Banker (OMB).
• Must have an established book of business, as position is 100% self-sourced.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have strong negotiation skills.
• NMLS and CA DBO required.
