OR Tech

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions
• Assist the surgical team during the surgical procedure by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures
• Maintain a sterile field during the surgical procedure
• Count and track surgical instruments and sponges
• Assist with patient transport to and from the operating room
• Assist with cleaning and restocking the operating room after the surgical procedure
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies and procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited OR Tech / Surgical Tech program
• Current BLS certification
• One year of OR Tech / Surgical Tech experience in Surgical Services
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• Must be able to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed
