Operations Supervisor – 2nd Shift

StaffBuffalo is actively working with one of our established companies in the Buffalo area to hire an Operations Supervisor, for $50,000/year - $60,000/year, depending on experience.  This is a second shift position with the hours being from 3pm – 11pm on Tuesday – Friday, and Saturday from 7am – 3:30pm.  This is a great opportunity to join a national company within a thriving industry.  This company provides excellent benefits, and the satisfaction of their employees is one of their top priorities!!
 

This Operations Supervisor will oversee 5 people within the shop.  They will be responsible for analyzing, planning, scheduling, and assigning work to the technicians.  The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for conducting shop meetings, tracking productivity and optimization, and ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to.  The Operations Supervisor will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure that all staff have the proper training, provide performance management updates, and schedule development plans.  Excellent customer service skills are necessary for the Operations Supervisor as they will be working with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with their service leading to customer retention.  The Operations Supervisor will manage inventory, purchase orders, and tracking of parts and tools.  They will work to make sure that the shop is running efficiently and safely.  This position requires that the Operations Supervisor is able to work independently, but, also, can thrive in a team setting. 
 

Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in a maintenance operations environment
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience with a Shop Management System
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Maintenance Technician

Preferred Qualifications:

• Supervisory experience
