The Operations Coordinator position is responsible for coordinating details and personnel logistics on various entertainment projects. Working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, you'll assist the Director of Operations in bringing organization to the company's objectives, as well as contribute your experience in the areas of budget management, resource allocation, personnel logistics and human resources.
Under the direction of the Director of Operations, oversee elements of the day-to-day operations of our entertainment projects through constant communication with company managers, production managers, and stage managers.
Assist in the development of the Operations Workflow, including human resources, supply management and operational strategy.
Prepare and present spreadsheets and reports detailing the company's operational capacities.
Assist in the preparation of job descriptions, job postings, recruitment and hiring.
Working with our partners and promoters, coordinate travel and accommodation needs and visa paperwork across numerous countries.
Serve as an additional on-call point of contact for managers on projects worldwide.
Travel to shows and corporate meetings as needed, in order to further the aims of the Operations department, and assist management with addressing the problems which they face.
Meet with outside solutions developers and vendors to find new professional tools and resources that will help improve operations.
Job Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience in coordinating various aspects of large projects.
An understanding of general HR policies and theories, project management, and workflow development.
A sharp set of organizational skills and ability to keep up with many simultaneous project needs.
Ability to work to deadlines and deliver results.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to travel for meetings and projects, as needed. (10% travel estimated for this position)
5+ Years of experience in the entertainment industry (particularly Live Entertainment or for a global company)
Past experience as one of the following: Production Manager, Stage Manager, Production Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Production Specialist, Operations Coordinator, or HR Generalist.
Knowledge or experience in international travel and logistics.
Past experience in database coordination a plus.
