Nutraceutical Product Development Specialist

The Product Development Specialist is responsible for  researching new product ideas and overseeing the development of approved products in the nutraceutical industry.

Research:
* Individual will work with marketing firm for the production and deployment of marketing material. 
* Individual will present no less than quarterly new product ideas for eye care, dental, health and beauty, general health and baby health.
* Individual will also be expected to outline the competitive market for the new products outlining the market potential, costs, pricing and development cycle.
* Individual will need to periodically review current product offerings and recommend changes if needed to improve the product competitiveness.
* Individual will make packaging recommendations, and will establish sales projects.
Production:
* Individual will work with various manufacturers to ensure compliance with Lunovus specifications.
* Individual will identify and make recommendations on the manufacturer to use for new and existing (when requested) products.
* Individual will follow up with manufacturers to ensure timely delivery.
* Individual will work with Marketing firm to ensure timely posting on various eCommerce sites.
* Individual will work with label manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of labels to various manufacturers as needed

Travel : This position may require occasional local and overnight travel to trade shows and meetings.

Must have Bachelors degree in related field; 3 years experience in product development; have project management skills, proficient with Microsoft, Outlook, Smartsheet
