Metal Fabricator

NOW HIRING, STARTING AT $21/HR, METAL FABRICATOR
(WILL INCREASE PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE!!)
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

• Ability to fabricate Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and Aluminum.
• Ability to adapt and custom fabricate on the fly. (In field and shop fabrication)
• Practice safe working habits and follow safety procedures.
• Accountable for the quality and quantity of the finished product.
• Creating and maintaining a working team environment.
• Responsible for safety, quality, and production with limited supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 

• Must be able to TIG weld stainless steel & aluminum (test will be given at interview)
• 5 years fabricating experience minimum
• AWS Certification preferred
• Provide basic tools for fabrication work & light maintenance work (all power tools will be provided)
• Operate various shop equipment (grinders, shear, break, drill press, band saw, plasma cutter, etc.)
• Lay out parts to be fabricated from raw materials
• Ability to differentiate between materials
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to show up to work on time
• Willingness to learn
• Able to work flexible schedule & overtime when needed
• Ability to read blueprints and design drawings
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals
• Use required measuring devices such as tape measure, square, weld gauge, etc. to accurately check and document part quality

A welding assessment will be performed the day of the interview. Plan accordingly and bring welding hood.

Salary: $21.00 to $24.00 /hour
