Mental Health Clinician - Baltimore, MD

As a CCCC Clinician, you will play a vital role in assessing, providing, and monitoring necessary care and support to help CCCC clients understand, resolve, and manage mental health issues in their lives. We are seeking dedicated clinicians who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals seeking mental health services. Clinical:

• Diagnose and treat emotional, mental, and behavioral disorders.
• Assess clients and provide recommendations for appropriate treatments.
• Utilize literature, research, evidence-based practices, and professional standards of care to accurately conceptualize, create treatment plans, and provide comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain legal and ethical standards of care.
• Conduct initial evaluations, psychotherapy, psychological assessments, testing, or other specialty therapeutic services in person or through CCCC telehealth options.
• Ensure timely electronic medical record documentation in accordance with CCCC and professional guidelines.
• Uphold professional and HIPAA standards of confidentiality and practice.
• Provide clients with appropriate care and referrals during times of crisis.
• Offer referrals and coordinate additional care or services as required.
• Provide coverage for other CCCC clinicians when they are unavailable.
• Notify the Clinical Director of any situations that pose clinical, legal, or ethical risks to the client or the practice.
• Establish and enforce boundaries and compliance in treatment according to the CCCC Informed Consent Agreement with clients.
• Terminate treatment in compliance with legal, ethical, professional, and CCCC guidelines when clients have achieved treatment goals, are noncompliant, require transfer within CCCC, or upon clinician termination.
• Work Options: Telehealth, in-person, and hybrid options available.
• Evening and weekend availability required.

General:

• Adhere to the CCCC Mission, community values, and group values.
• Comply with all CCCC signed agreements.
• Follow the CCCC clinical procedure manual.
• Follow the CCCC supervisor's manual, where applicable.
• Participate in CCCC activities, including weekly meetings, supervision (formal or peer), all-staff meetings, social activities, and events.

Administrative:

• Coordinate scheduling with administration and Intake staff to maintain billable hours.
• Notify CCCC administrators when taking leave and ensure clinical coverage.
• Respond to medical record requests promptly.
• Maintain audit-ready medical record documentation.
• Respond to requests from CCCC administrative staff or directors in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Counselors, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Psychologists in the DC, MD, and VA area preferred.
• Experience working in a community mental health setting is advantageous.
• Strong commitment to providing culturally competent and accessible mental health services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
