Medical Scheduler Representative

Adelante Healthcare is seeking a Medical Scheduler Representative (PSR) who is a motivated, self-starting individual, who can work well without direct supervision to join our company. Full- Time, salary is based upon experience. The position is for our Central Phoenix location

Successful candidates will able to perform the following:
The incumbent will be responsible for scheduling medical evaluations to our satellite offices and obtaining medical records for our physicians. Additionally, the candidate will schedule over-the-phone interviews with doctor staff and patients, perform data entry, record-keeping, and provide excellent customer service over the phone.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet all patients & Visitors as they enter the office
• Ensures excellent customer service by answering multi-line phone system, with quality and efficiency
• Ability to schedule a high volume of appointment in a timely and courteous manner
• Provides exemplary customer service; treats patients and coworkers with courtesy and discretion
• Accuracy when filling out billing forms, contracts and collecting deposits
• Schedule appointments for the Hearing Provider, by entering patients personal information, to ensure that information is accurately entered into the databases
• Verifies all pertinent patient demographic information in E.H.R system, including insurance information
• Assist the Provider with the cleaning and general patient care
• Generate mailings and marketing efforts generate business
• Ordering equipment and supplies for the office to ensure day to day activities to run smoothly
• Ensuring inventory is accurate based on the database and physical inventory.
• All other duties to be assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

• GED/ Diploma equivalent (College degree is a plus)
• Minimum 1 year office setting preferred
• Proficient in MS office systems is a plus
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Minimum of 1 years of customer service experience or equivalent
• Ability to think independently and demonstrate good problem-solving skills
• Must be able to multi-task while still working effectively and accurately

• Paid holidays and Vacation after full time

• Office Hours for this position are 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
