Our facility is a pediatrics clinic as well as an immigration clinic (gives medical exams). Our facility needs someone who is dependable and can come to work routinely without repeatedly requiring time off for family or personal issues. We want someone who is looking to stay full-time as well as work on a long-term basis; we are not seeking someone who we have to train only for them to leave after a year after gaining the experience they wanted.
Responsibilities include processing referral authorizations, send prescriptions, filling out important paperwork, answering phone calls, verifying insurance, in addition to basic medical assistant duties (having basic medical knowledge, administering shots and basic vital procedures, etc.).
Qualifications include some previous experience in the medical field, being careful and not being prone to making mistakes, as well as being able to focus in a fast paced environment. It is also extremely important that the applicant speak and understand Spanish fluently. Much of what is needed can be taught here, but we are looking for certain qualities that cannot be taught (discipline, taking initiative, able to follow directions, etc.). We offer vacation, holiday, and sick time.
This is a pediatrics clinic as well as a USCIS accredited Immigration clinic. The doctor of both of these operations is Dr. Frank Lopez.
