MD/DO for a Collaborative/Supervising Agreement

A part-time physician (MD, DO) is needed to enter into a collaborative/supervising agreement with a Nurse Practitioner. The candidate must be licensed in Florida, but could be physically located outside of Florida. No direct supervision or chart review/co-signing required.
The company focuses on providing primary care services to clients with uncomplicated, non-emergent illnesses via telemedicine. 
 

Job Description:

• Serve as a supervising physician in accordance with applicable law.
• Posses a current, unencumbered, free of sanctions from Medicaid Medicare license to practice in the state of Florida (MD or DO)
• Maintain ongoing licensure requirements and credentials based on the area of specialty
• Accept the responsibility for supervising the designated ARNP, as defined by the Florida state board requirements
• Have three or less supervising obligations with other health care offices (excluding physician’s primary practice) or not more than one, if in a specialty of dermatology or Plastic Surgery.
• Make arrangements with NP for a substitute physician to be available (back-up physician), if necessary
• Enter into a collaborative practice agreement with the ARNP and provide oversight and supervision consistent with the Collaborative Agreement, any applicable protocols and in accordance with any applicable state and federal laws.

Experience: Prior collaborative experience is preferred, but not required

Work hours: flexible schedule – 0 to 3 hours per month, no chart review and/or cosign requirement
