Shift: Day
Pay: $17/hr
 

This position performs material handling activities associated for a booming medical device company, with moving product throughout the internal supply chain in the Receiving, Stores, and Shipping areas.  This includes both physical and administrative activities related to receiving, stocking, kitting, storing, repackaging, cycle counting, and shipping material. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Physically move raw materials, sub-assemblies, and completed product throughout the internal supply chain (e.g., pull parts/kits, label parts, replenish Kanbans, etc.) and enter product information in computer
• Support inventory control activities (e.g., perform scheduled inventory/cycle counts, remove and discard expiring materials, post work order based transactions, create Kanbans, etc.)  
• Pick and pack product to ship.  Create waybills and shipping documentation as well as perform electronic transactions.
• Physically receive material and perform supporting electronic transactions.  
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of all assigned work areas.

• High school diploma
• 1-2 years material handling, inventory control, shipping, receiving, or other relevant experience
• Successful experience working in a team oriented environment working to meet deadlines
• Basic computer skills in word-processing and spreadsheets, MRP system experience desired
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Have excellent reliability and be able to follow solutions to completion
